Day 1 - Arrival at Cancun
Arrival in Mexico; Cancun Airport with meet and greet and transfer service to your chosen Hotels (six nights in Carmen Hacienda hotel in Puerto Morelos or Omni Hotel).
Day 2 - Free morning; afternoon ATV or visit to the cenotes
Relax at the beach in the morning after your flight the day before. After lunch we head towards Puerto Morelos to the Mexican jungle. Here, you can choose between two activities: ATV-driving or snorkeling in a cenote. (B)
Day 3 - Sian Ka'an Conservation and Multisport Adventure day
Today’s excursion takes you to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will learn about the importance of Mexico’s National protected area and have the opportunity to kayak in the wetlands, hike through the jungle and snorkel in a cenote. Afterward, enjoy a late lunch in Tulum at Don Cafeto. (B, L). For conservation purposes learn from and participate in one of the projects of the reserve (several projects at different times of the year to choose from).
Day 4 - Chichen Itza
Today you visit Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven World Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience the magnificent archaeological site and its history. Learn about the Mayas and enjoy the great view from one of the famous pyramids - an experience you will never forget. Today’s excursion also includes a visit to the cenote of Ik Kil in the eco-archaeological park. The activities of day four are taking place close to Puerto Morelos in the Mexican jungle. (B)
Day 5 - Coba and Tulum or Whale Shark Adventure!
There are two options for this tour and it depends on the season:
Summer dates (mid-May – mid-September): This is the adventure you have been waiting for - the Whale Shark Adventure. This is your opportunity to swim and snorkel with this peaceful fish, the biggest shark in the ocean. Although this creature only eats plankton, you will still be surprised about its size. This is an adventure you should not miss!
Winter dates (mid-September – mid-May): Visit the great historical sites of Coba and Tulum. These precious cities have had a great influence on the Yucatan Peninsula. Here, you can discover authentic Mayan life style. This place is really worth a visit, to make the picture complete! (B, L)
Day 6 – Xcaret
Today we are going to Xcaret* (means small water in Mayan) an eco-archaeological park that shows different aspects of the Mayan culture. It also has ecological importance due to its labor for the conservation and reproduction of regional flora and fauna. In the park there is the archaeological site Polé, here you find a large variety of tropical animals and plants as well as a series of water attractions and a beach. (B)
Admission provides:*
Water Activities: underground river, inlet and natural pools, beach, and Paradise River.
Exhibitions: aquarium, marine turtles and manatee lagoon, bat cave, butterfly pavilion, deer shelter, jaguar den, spider monkey island, mushroom farm, orchid greenhouse, tropical jungle trail, regional wildlife farm and the scenic tower.
Performances: flying men, equestrian show.
Cultural: archaeological sites, house of whispers, Mayan village and St. Francis of Assisi Chapel. At the end of the day we will bring you back to the Carmen Hacienda hotel in Puerto Morelos.
Additional payment required for: swimming with the dolphins, sea trek, scuba, snorkeling tour, Temascal and Tlachco dinner. These activities can be booked upon arrival at Xcaret.
Day 7 - Departure from Cancun
End of the tour. After your breakfast we will bring you to Cancun Airport for your return flight home. (B)
