This tour it will be a combination between Cultural tour and Adventures and wild life. This tour recommended for reasonably fit people who are used to long walks, and for those with a flexible, adventurous attitude. Accommodation in the mountains is in the traditional houses of the Albanian highlanders. The tour covers some of the most scenic parts of Albania and includes a ferry trip on the spectacular Lake Koman, a trek through the beautiful Valbona Valley and a visit to the Theth Valley. Also the tourist will admire the spectacular view of one of the largest lakes in Europe from the ruins of the Rozafa Castle.
- Lake Koman: The ferry trip on Lake Koman is an outstanding experience. and stretches along of the Drini River. The lake was formed after the construction of a dam in the 80's. on both sides create a spectacular landscape
- Valbona Valley: This is probably the most beautiful valley of Northern Albania. The waters of Valbona River flow in the middle of a spectacular border of steep mountain peaks. This is the crown of the Albanian Alps.
- Theth Valley: A hidden paradise in the heart of the Albanian Alps, the Theth Valley is the starting point for all treks to the highest peaks in the region.

Day One
Airport – Tirana-Durres. Meet and greet the group upon arrival at the airport; Transfer to Durres and accommodation in the hotel. The tour program will be adjusted pending on arrival times. The City of Durres (Dyrracium) enjoyed the status of “a free city” in the times of Julius Caesar. Visit the Fortress, with a prominent Venetian Tower; the Amphitheatre (one of the biggest in the Balkan Peninsula and most exquisite monuments that has survived from the ancient city. It was built in the 2nd century A.C during the Roman period. According to the records, the amphitheatre was very big and could sit 15.000 spectators); the Archaeological Museum, located near the sea, is rich in objects found during archeological excavations in Durres. Walk on the sea shore. Dinner and overnight in hotel Dolce Vita or Besani Durres
Day Two
Durres–Kruje–Shkoder. After breakfast, the group departs by bus to the ancient city of Kruje. The City of Kruje is built on a mountainside, at 1200m above sea level. It is the famous birthplace of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, a XV century Albanian leader who resisted the Ottoman Empire for 25 years. Visit to the Old Bazaar with its famous shops full of silver filigree jewelry, authentic folk costumes, woven rugs, and traditional felt hats. Visit to the Kruje Castle, a city highlight. This fortress dates back to the Century V-VI. Visit the Skanderbeg Museum, built within the Castle premises, in honor of the Albanian National Hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. Lunch in a local characteristic traditional restaurant. Depart for the antique city of Shkoder. Founded in the 4th Century BC, capital of the Illyrian state of the Ardian Tribe, Visit the Rozafa Castle. In the evening, the group takes a walking tour of the city center, a historical area. Visit of the Hamam, the Big Church, the Lead Mosque, the photography museum Marubi. Overnight at Tradita Hotel in Shkoder
Day Three
Shkoder-Thethi. Departure on an excursion to the Natural Park of Theth. The group will visit the surroundings of Theth, one of the most famous villages of northern Albania for its stunning nature and the traditional houses. The group will walk downhill from the house, and visit the attractions near by the village, including the Church, a tower house used in the past by men as a shelter against ongoing blood feud, the Theth Waterfall, and the Canyon of Grunas. The tour will proceed with a visit to the Cyclopean stone walled terraces dating from the late bronze era, discovered in 2007! Outdoor lunch will constitute of fresh bio dairy produce cooked in the traditional way of the local villagers. Dinner. Overnight in the Guest House in Thethi.
Day Four
Theth – Boga- Shkoder
After breakfast at the guesthouse, we leave Theth to start trekking towards the village of Boga. We use a narrow pathway through the Albanian Alps that connects the villages of Thethi and Boga. After two hours we arrive at the pass. It offers stunning views of Bjeshket e Namuna (The Accursed Mountains). The route continues downhill along the side of Radohima Mountain until we reach the village of Boga. We have lunch in this picturesque village surrounded by vertical slopes with peaks above 2000m high. we leave Boga village and brings us 50km back to Shkoder. In the evening we go out to one of the restaurants at the lakeside to enjoy the traditional fish specialties looking at the panorama of the lake of Shiroka
Day Five
Shkodra-Tropoje. After breakfast, we travel to Tropoje through Koman Lake with ferry boat, which goes through the very beautiful scenery of mountains of this area. Arrival and lunch at Tropoja, which is located in the very north of Albania and has, close historical and ethnographical relations with Kosovo region. Then, we continue our trip to one of the most wonderful natural beauties of Albania: Valbona Valley. We visit the Dragobi Cave. Accommodation in hotel at Valbona village and overnight. You will enjoy the traditional food as well as dancing of Tropoja district.
Day Six
Bajram Curri. After breakfast, we begin our trip to one of the most wonderful natural beauties of Albania: National Park of “Lugina e Valbones” (The valley of Valbona)It has a surface of about 8.000 hectares and is situated 25-30 km in northwest of the city of Bajram Curri. It expands among high mountains and shows off a fantastic complexion of colors in every season, thus giving the image of a valley full of labyrinths and surprises. Its scientific, tourist and health recovering values are combined with a bio-diversity of national and international importance. Its rocky and attractive peaks, the sides covered with wood, the flow of brooks and river Valbona, viewed from above, create the image of a giant and marvelous crater as a small panorama of natural beauty. The nature of this park is full of varieties suitable for tourism, fishing, relaxation, amusing and mountain climbing as well as winter sports. In the inner part of the Park there are a lot of grottos and caves. The most eminent is the Cave of Dragobia, where lay the remains of Bajram Curri, a national hero. Overnight in Valbona or in Bajram Curri.
Day Seven
B.Curri-Kruje-Tirane. After breakfast, departure by bus and ferry boat through Koman Lake to the ancient town of Kruja. It is situated in a small mountain at more than 1200 meter above sea level. Kruja is the famous birthplace of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, a XV century Albanian leader who resisted the Ottoman Empire for 25 years Visit the Old Bazaar with its famous shops full of silver filigree jewelry, authentic folk costumes, woven rugs, and traditional felt hats Visit the t he most important sight of Kruja, the citadel. This fortress dates back to the 5th or 6th century Visit the Skanderbeg Museum, built to honor the National Hero of Albania, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. We continue to Tirana at the hotel, dinner and overnight in the Hotel.
Day Eight
Tirana-City. After breakfast, begin the Tour of Tirana City. It starts with a visit at the National History Museum followed by a stop at the Mosque of Et`hem Bey built in 1830. The Opera House (National Theater of Opera and Ballet) looks over the Scanderbeg Square. A walk in the main boulevard provides a close sight of the City Hall and a number of Governmental buildings, on both sides. You cannot miss the National Gallery of Arts along this walk. At noon, we take the cable car (built by the Austrians, European Masters in the business) to Dajti Mountain, 1200m above sea level. A short break for coffee (or lunch) at one of the most panoramic restaurants in Dajti, offers a wonderful view of Tirana lying at the foot of the mountain. “Panorama” Restaurants looks like a big balcony over the capital of Albania. Upon return to the city in the evening, a visit to the former Communist Residential area, with modern bars, restaurants and pubs where the populated by different age groups, especially Albanian youth. Dinner in restaurant with live music. Overnight in Hotel Tafaj
Day Nine
Tirana-Airport. After breakfast in Hotel, depending on the flying time, walk in Tirana, gift shopping and transfer to the airport.
