After hotel pickup, we depart from Nelson Mandela Terminal in the V&A Waterfront for the Robben Island tour.
This is the island where former President Mandela spent most of his 27 years of imprisonment, and which is now a World Heritage site. The tours are guided by ex-inmates of the prison. The tour lasts about 3.5 hours.
After lunch we are heading for the Spectacular Table Mountain.
We go to the top of Table Mountain by using the very modern cable car facility. The view from the top of Table Mountain is unbelievable and on a clear day it is possible to see hundreds of kilometres away. This also gives you a bird's eye view of the peninsula, which makes it easier to understand the city. Return to your hotel
