Vacation Activities Detail Information
Day 1: Yangon-arrival

(Based on morning flight)

Arrival Yangon International Airport you will be welcomed by your tour guide and transfer to your Hotel and check in. Sightseeing for today includes the colonial downtown area where you can see the over 100 year old Strand Hotel, the beautiful post office and the British Embassy. It is also the place where you can experience the local life of Myanmar people. Then, we will drive to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, known for the reclining Buddha that measures 70metres in Length. End of the day with you can visit to the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda for breath taking sunset. Stay overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon - Bagan

Very early in the morning, transfer to the airport. Depart Yangon for Bagan, the ancient city with over 4400 temples. Day 3 Bagan– Mt. Popa - Bagan excursion

Rising 1,518metres from the plains of the surroundings of Bagan, Mt. Popa is considered the sacred home of the spirits and is about a 1.5 hour drive from Bagan. Visit a palm village along the way, you can learn how to do palm sugar is produced. Continue to Mt. Popa and visit TaungKalat, the temple which sits atop like a plug in the volcano and holds significance in Myanmar’s history and religion. The monastery is home to the 37 nats (spirits) of Myanmar, which are displayed at the base of the temple. Mt. Popa is also known as the Oasis of Central Myanmar. Stay overnight in Bagan.

Day 4 Bagan - Mandalay

After breakfast, transfer to the NyaungOo Airport. Depart Bagan for Mandalay. Mandalay was briefly the Burmese capital in the second half on the 19th century. It is home to about one million people and remains the economic, cultural and religious heart of upper Myanmar. Upon arrival, drive straightly to Amarapura, the 18th century capital where the country’s largest monastery is located, it is MahaGhandayon monastery. The ancient city of Amarapura is famous for its silk weaving industry. Sightseeing also includes the magnificent teak bridge of U Bein, which is over 200 years old and 1.2 km long. It is the longest teak bridge in the world. After lunch visit to Royal Capital Inwa (AVA) by horse cart. Visit Nanmyint Watch Tower, the remains of the ancient palace building, also known as “the leaning tower of Ava,” Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, built of brick and stucco: Bargayar Monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. Stay overnight in Mandalay.

Day 5: Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay

After breakfast, an excursion by boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River will take you to Mingun, about 11km (1 hour) upriver from Mandalay. Visit the unfinished Mingun Paya, which was meant to become the largest stupa in Myanmar, constructed by King Bodaw Paya one of the world’s largest bells; the 90 ton Mingun Bell and Hsinbyume Paya. Return back to Mandalay. Afternoon sightseeing in Mandalay includes the Golden Palace Monastery, located close to Mandalay Hill, being famous for its teak carvings of Buddhist myths. Also at the foot of Mandalay Hill lies Kuthodaw pagoda, which was built in 1857 and is home to the world’s largest book. Visit the Maha Muni pagoda later in the day, which is regarded to as the holiest site in Mandalay and is not to be missed. You can also explore a stone curving workshop near by. If time permits, drive to Mandalay Hill where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Mandalay over the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. Stay overnight in Mandalay.

Day-6 Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya – Kalaw

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho. Heho airport to Pindaya about 90 minutes drive. After check in at hotel, visit to the Pindaya Caves which houses thousand of Buddha Images of various sizes placed there by pilgrims over the centuries and you can explore the district for famous traditional paper and its umbrella making home base cottage industry. Then, drive to Kalaw which is situated 70 km west of Taunggyi; the capital of Shan state and about 50km from Pindaya caves. Kalaw sits high on the western edge of the Shan Plateau and was a popular hill station in the British times. It is still a peaceful and quiet place with an atmosphere remnant of colonial era. Sightseeing in Kalaw includes Nee Paya, a gold lacquered bamboo Buddha. You can enjoy the daily life of local tribes and also you can taste the traditional foods of local people. Stay overnight in Kalaw.

Day-7 Kalaw – Inle

After breakfast, we are transferring by road to Inle Lake and transfer to our hotel by long tail boat across the lake. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. In the afternoon take long tail boat to discover the Inle lake including floating gardens, Nanpan where you can see the traditional boat making, cheroot making factory and lotus and silk weaving industry at Inn paw khone Village. Next visit to Ngaphae Kyaung (Jumping cats monastery) where Burmese cats are well trained to demonstrate the visitors. If time permits, visit the famous Phaungdaw-U Pagod, famed for its richly gilded five small Buddha images. Stay overnight in Inle.

Day-8 Inle – Indein sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel; visit a five day market if it is happened near your resort. After that, continue to Indeinn by long tailed boat, it is located in the south-west of the lake. The boat leaves the lake and enters a narrow channel to visit Shwe Indeinn pagoda complex, following a stair path lined up with a beautiful natural environment to proceed to a small Pa-O tribe village magnificent columns. Stay overnight in Inle.

Day-9 Inle – Heho – Thandwe – Ngapali Beach

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Heho to take your departure flight to Thandwe Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to Ngapali Beach. Check in the hotel and have your leisure time at our one of the most beautiful Beaches.

Day-10 Ngapali Beach

Day-12 Ngapali Beach – Thandwe – Yangon

After breakfast, transfer to Thandwe Airport. Depart from Thandwe to Yangon. Our local tour guide will welcome again and transfer to your hotel to check in. After refreshment, take you to our historical colonial Bogyoke (Scott) market, usually closed on Monday and gazette holidays, for your souvenir shopping. Stay overnight in Yangon.

Day-13 Yangon Departure

(Based on morning flight)

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. And then our guide will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Yangon International Airport to take your International Departure Flight.
