Day 1. Ulaanbaatar

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar city, Transfer to the hotel and relax. Half day city tour and taste Mongolian traditional meal for dinner. /L/D/.

Day 2. Uvs lake

Fly Ulaangom, Uvs lake. Uvs province is situated in the western part of Mongolia and was established in. Uvs province lies in the Great Lakes Depression in the northwestern region of Mongolia, adjoining the Russian border to the north, Zavkhan province to the east, Khovd province to the south and Bayan-Ulgii province to the west. Uvs Nuur - the biggest lake in Mongolia. It is 84 km in long and 79km in wide, covering 3423 square kilometers, lies in the northern part of the Great Lakes basin. There are 362 types of aquatic birds, including swans, snow herons, spoonbills, steppe-hazel grouse, ducks and yellow-hazel geese, and 72 kinds of mammals.Overnight in tourist ger camp. /B,L,D/

Day 3. Kharkhiraa Turgen mountain ~ 105 km

Morning drive to Kharkhiraa, Turgen mountain range. The Turgen Mountain Strictly protected area established in 1993, covers 22,000 hectare area of the Uvs Nuur Basin and contains almost 20% of the total snow covered mountains of Mongolia. The beautiful rivers of Kharkhiraa, Turgen and Yamaat originate from the snow-capped peaks of the Turgen Mountain range. The Kharkhiraa and Turgen Mountains are home to many endangered, rare animals like snow leopard, wild mountain sheep Argali, ibex, lynx and so on. Day 4. Achit lake ~ 263 km

Achit lake is one of the freshwater largest lakes of Mongolia, is surrounded by Kharkhiraa, Turgen mountains at an altitude of 1464 m. The Lake covers an area of 311 km². The rivers Altangadas, Bukhmurun feed into Achit Lake. This is the largest freshwater lake in the province. Ultimately through the Usankhooil river, the stream flows into the Hovd River. The lake is home to flocks of geese, eagles and many other birdlife. Overnight in tent. (B,L,D)

Day 5. Ulgii ~80 km

After breakfast drive to Ulgii which is center of Bayan-Ulgii province. The aimag is located in the extreme west of the country, and shares borders with both Russia and China. Bayan-Ulgii is the highest Mongolian aimag. After arrival visit to a local museum, check in hotel and relax. (B,L,D)

Day 6. Shiveet khairkhan Mountain ~ 170 km

Morning drive to Shiveet Khairkhan mountain. which is the Tuvan sacred mountain to reach to the Tuvan Nomads. See historical places on the way to Shiveet Mountain. Will prepare next trekking and horse riding tours. Overnight in a tent. (B,L,D)

Day 7. Trekking and hiking

Day 8. Trekking and hiking-Potanin Glacier which is the longest glacier in Mongolia, its long about 14 kilometers and located through in the Altai Tavan Bogd mountain in Altai Mountains. (B,L,D)

Day 9 -10

Horse riding to Tsagaan gol. The Upper Tsagaan Gol Complex is located in a high, glacier carved valley in westernmost Mongolia. The valley is broken by two rivers-Khar Salaa and Tsagaan Salaa-that rise in the snows and glaciers of Tavan Bogd, the knot of mountains at the juncture of Mongolia, Russia, and China west of the Upper Tsagaan Gol. From Tavan Bogd, the rivers flow east around a sacred mountain, Shiviit Khairkhan, and join to form the east flowing Tsagaan Gol. (B,L,D)

Day 11.

Drive to Khoton, Khurgan lake. Lake Khoton Nuur is located in an intermontane tectonic depression in the northern portion of the Mongolian Altai. Its
Surface area is 50.1 km2; the average depth is 26.6 m; the maximum depth is approximately 58 m. Khoton nuur has one Iceland which is covered by woods. The system of Khoton Nuur and Khurgan Nuur lakes, connected by a wide channel, is the source of the Hovd River which drains the whole Mongolian Altai. Lake Khoton Nuur was formed by glacial blockages. Khurgan nuur is the lowest point of Altai Tavan Bogd National park. Overnight in a tent. (B,L,D)

Day 12. Tolbo lake ~ 190 km

After breakfast drive to Tolbo lake which is a high altitude freshwater lake with ice-cold water lake. Here we will have bird and flower watching tour. Overnight in a tent. (B,L,D)

Day 13. Khovd town ~ 200 km

Drive to Khovd province. The history of Hovd dates back about 240 years. At the north end of town there is a ruined fort where the Manchu dynasty Viceroy lived with his troops. Mongolian revolutionaries chased them out in 1912. While the Manchus were ruling, they planted trees along the main streets that can still be seen today. Check in local hotel and relax after long trip. (B,L,D)

Day 14. Fly back to UB

Day 15.City tour and shopping

Breakfast, City Tour including Visit to main Square Sukhbaatar, Visits to Gandantegchilen Monastery- Present biggest monastery. National History Museum, Natural History Museum. Friendship Monument on Zйaisan hill, Free time for shopping the main street shops, art shops and antique shops, National Folk Performance. Farewell dinner. (B,L,D)
