Day 1 - DEPART USA
Overnight flight to Amsterdam.
Day 2 - ARRIVE AMSTERDAM (2 nights)
Welcome to Amsterdam! After check-in there's time to relax and unwind or perhaps start exploring this friendly city. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Drink with your Tour Director and fellow travellers.
Day 3 - AMSTERDAM SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE
This morning explore the city on your included canal cruise in a glass-topped boat. Then a guided tour of the Rijksmuseum will reveal Rembrandt’s masterpiece, the ‘Nightwatch’. Finally, visit a diamond polishing factory to discover many interesting facts about these precious gems. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 4 - AMSTERDAM - AALSMEER - KEUKENHOF - DELFT – ROTTERDAM
An early start takes you to Aalsmeer to see the flower auction. Next visit the bulb fields at Keukenhof. (Open from April until the middle of May – when closed you will visit 'Holland in Miniature' at Madurodam.) Then stop in Scheveningen before driving through The Hague. The town of Delft and the Royal Delft Pottery factory is your last visit of the day before arriving in Rotterdam. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 5 - ROTTERDAM - NIJMEGEN - ARNHEM – ZUTPHEN
After breakfast, an orientation tour of Rotterdam reveals the most important river port in Europe. Next journey to Nijmegen to visit the museum at Groesbeek, dedicated to the history of Operation Market Garden in 1944. Finally, make your way to Arnhem to see the famous World War II bridge. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 6 - ZUTPHEN - APELDOORN – GRONINGEN
Today you are taken to Hoge Veluwe Park and the 'Kröller–Müller' Museum which houses some of Van Gogh’s most famous works. Then to Apeldoorn to visit the 17th century Het Loo Palace with its formal gardens. Next to quaint Staphorst and finally to Groningen. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 7 - GRONINGEN - VOLENDAM – AMSTERDAM
Your day begins with a scenic drive into the Frisian Lake District to Bolsward, Workum and the fishing port of Makkum. Next continue along the Afsluitdijk via the cheese-making village of Edam to Volendam. This afternoon visit Zaanse Schans with its many windmills, to see how wooden clogs and Dutch cheese are made before returning to Amsterdam. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner together. (Buffet Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)
Day 8 - AMSTERDAM – USA
This morning after breakfast, bid farewell to your traveling companions as your insightful vacation comes to an end. There are airport transfers available. Conditions apply. (Buffet Breakfast)
