This tour is designed for those who love and admire Russian ballet. It gives an opportunity not only to attend performances of the Mariinsky (Kirov) Ballet, but also to visit a ballet school and have dinner in the Backstage Restaurant.

DAY 1
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 2
Morning guided city sightseeing tour including Nevsky Prospect, the Square of Fine Arts, St.Isaacs Square and a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress, the birth lace of St.Petersburg. Lunch independent
Evening ballet performance in Mariinsky (Kirov) Theatre
DAY 3
Morning backstage tour of Mariinsky Theatre. Lunch independent. Afternoon guided tour of the Hermitage museum, one the worlds largest art museums.
DAY 4
Morning excursion to Tsars Village (the town of Pushkin) with a guided visit to Catherines Palace where you will see the 8th wonder of the world, the Amber Room.
Evening performance in Mikhailovsky (Mussorgsky) theatre, the famous contemporary ballet dancer Farukh Ruzimatov is the choreographer in this theater now.
DAY 5
Morning tour of Alexander Nevsky Lavra, where famous Russian composers and the founder of Russian classical ballet school, the choreographer M.Petipat, are Buried.
Afternoon visit to a rehearsal/master-class in a ballet theatre or a visit to a ballet school to meet teachers and students, attending a class.
Farewell dinner in the Back stage restaurant of Mariinsky theatre. The restaurant belongs to the theatre and the dancers often go there after performances. The restaurant is decorated with stage decorations from Mariinsky and photographs and autographs of famous dancers.

Transfer to the airport
