Enjoy a fantastic expedition to the Maya World for two months. You will engage in a great variety of activities that are adventurous, as well as nature and culture related. Here are some of the adventure activities: Hiking in the Mayan jungle, kayaking in the wetlands and snorkeling the coral reefs of Mexico and Belize. Moreover, enjoy boat tours to the unique and protected areas of Mexico and Belize as well as snorkeling and diving the amazing and unique cenotes (underground rivers with crystal waters) and the second largest reef in the world. Some of the amazing activities you will be able to enjoy in the terms of culture are: Visiting unique archaeological sites of the Maya World such as Tikal in Guatemala; Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba and Palenque in Mexico. Also, visit unique Mayan villages and contribute to the Mayan area through volunteer activities.

Day 01
Welcome and briefing on the trip. Safety and health issues are discussed by our guide. Afterwards, transfer to the hostel for your check-in. The rest of the day is free for leisure time. Overnight will in Cancun.
Day 02
Enjoy biking to the beach and be astonished by the great turquoise colored water of the ocean. Afterwards, we will return to the city for your fist Spanish lesson. (Spanish book included). Overnight will in Cancun.
Day 03
Bike excursion to Puerto Juarez where we will take a ferry to Isla Mujeres. Isla Mujeres bicycle tour and snorkeling. Ferry to Puerto Juarez and bicycle back to you hostel for your Spanish lesson. Overnight will in Cancun.
Day 04
Free day. Overnight will in Cancun.
Day 05
Departure to Playa del Carmen. Here, we take the ferry to Cozumel. Arrival at the hostel. Enjoy the island on your own. Overnight will in Cozumel.
Day 06
PADI certification course. Visit to the museum of the Island and cycling to Playa Azul. Spanish lesson. Overnight in Cozumel.
Day 07
PADI certification course / Optional snorkel trip. Spanish lesson. Overnight in Cozumel.
Day 08
Cycling to Mezcalito Beach. Spanish lesson. Overnight in Cozumel. Certification party!
Day 09
Ferry to Playa Del Carmen and transfer to Nuevo Durango to enjoy adventure and community involvement, visit to the insect museum and introduction to caves in preparation. Afterwards, enjoy the Swallow’s well at dusk. Overnight will in rustic cabins of the community.
Day 10
Rappel in two caves to marvel on the formations. Enjoy a demanding, yet fun tour. To finish this adventure, another highlight is to take a refreshing bath in a cenote. In the evening, the locals will challenge you in a basketball match. Spanish lesson. Overnight in the community.
Day 11
Journey to Merida, the colonial city. On the way, stop to swim in Yokdzonot. Then the journey takes us further to Merida. Arrival and check in at Nomadas hostel.
Day 12
Merida City tour and visit to the traditional handcrafts market. Spanish lesson. In the evening enjoy leisure time.
Day 13
Visit to the Regional Anthropology Museum followed by Montejo Av. Spanish lesson.
Day 14
Day off. Time to check your emails, do laundry, etc. Optional: cenotes and Haciendas tour. Spanish lesson.
Day 15
Travel to Campeche. Arrival at the hostel. City tour to enjoy this almost too beautiful colonial city, declared humanity’s heritage by the UNESCO in 1999.
Day 16
Day for yourself.
Day 17
Jog to Baluarte, San Miguel. Visit to the Mayan culture museum. Spanish lesson and free evening.
Day 18
Early fishing at the wharf.
Day 19
Day trip to Palenque. Free evening. Overnight in Palenque.
Day 20
Visit Palenque's archaeological site and museum. Afterwards, optional tour to the Misol-Ha waterfalls. Spanish lesson. Overnight in Palenque.
Day 21
Day trip to San Cristobal de Las Casas. Stop at Agua Azul waterfalls to enjoy one of Mexico’s most renowned natural beauties. Overnight in San Cristobal.
Day 22
Visit to the Cathedral and Santo Domingo temple; enjoy the ethnic diversity of San Cristobal and the handcrafts market. Spanish lesson. Free evening. Overnight in San Cristobal.
Day 23
Enjoy the visit to the town of San Juan Chamula and be overwhelmed by the fusion of Mayan and Catholic rituals. Spanish lesson. Overnight in San Cristobal.
Day 24
Journey to Las Cotorras at the Montes Azules biosphere reserve. Encounter the rural community and learn from their ancient wisdom.
Day 25
Take the opportunity to go hiking, practicing archery and visiting Las Cotorras. Spanish lesson. Overnight in Las Cotorras.
Day 26
Breakfast. Travel to Frontera Corozal and boat ride to La Tecnica followed by a bus ride to Flores. Overnight will in Flores.
Day 27
Visit the Church of our Lady of Asuncion where locals worship the Black Christ of Peten. Enjoy the boat ride to ARCAS, a veterinarian facility managed by volunteers from all over the world. Party time at Roots Bar, a special welcome to Guatemala. Overnight in Flores.
Day 28
Early departure to enjoy Tikal in the mist. Also, wild life runs freely at the archaeological site. Spanish lesson. Overnight will in Flores.
Day 29
Trip to Ixpanpajuil. Here we camp as well as hike and zip-line through the jungle. Optional: Sky Walk and horseback riding.
Day 30
Departure to Yaxha and San Ignacio. Overnight in San Ignacio Cayo, Belize.
Day 31
City tour. Blended with the odd variety of Guatemala-bound travelers. Spanish lesson.
Day 32
Walk to the archaeological site of Cahal Pech. Spanish lesson.
Day 33
Canoeing will on the Macal River for wildlife observation. See birds, iguanas and more!
Day 34
Physical Conditioning; Travel to Barton’s Creek, canoeing to the cave, camp and relax. Spanish lesson.
Optional night cave tour. Overnight will at camp.
Day 35
Physically challenging activities; Self guided tours through the jungle. Optional, but not included, is horseback riding, high profile hiking to climb a 700 ft. waterfall and climbing down a cave with Mayan remains. Spanish lesson. Overnight will at camp.
Day 36
Travel to San Ignacio. On our way we will visit the Big Rock Cascade. Arrival will at the hostel. Free evening.
Day 37
Day off, to relax, do your laundry, write e-mails, etc.
Day 38
Journey to Chetumal. Arrival will at the hostel in Mexico.
Day 39
Physical Conditioning. Bus ride to Kantemo to witness a unique marvel of nature. Here, some organisms have adapted to live under the severe condition of total darkness inside a cave. The night will be camping by the lagoon.
Day 40
Cycle back to town. Breakfast at the market in Jose Ma. Morelos. Arrival at Tulum hostel.
Day 41
Physical Conditioning. Biking tour to the Tankah cenote. Enjoy the crystal clear water and beauty of these eons old geological formations. Spanish lesson. Overnight will in Tulum.
Day 42
Physical Conditioning. Day off to relax at the beach, etc.
Day 43
Physical Conditioning. Visit the famous archaeological site at Tulum. Enjoy the fantastic view on the Caribbean from the cliffs of Tulum's archaeological site. Cycle back to town. Spanish lesson. Overnight will in Tulum.
Day 44
Physical conditioning. Journey to Valladolid. On the way we are going to visit the archaeological site of Coba and will climb the highest Mayan structure in the Yucatan Peninsula. Also, we will swim in the Cenote Cho Ha. Arrival will at Valladolid hostel.
Day 45
Cycle to cenote X’keken in the town of Dzitnup. This probably the most famous cenote in the world. Spanish lesson. Evening for leisure time.
Day 46
Early departure to Chichen Itza. We will visit one of the Marvels of the Modern World. Afterwards, we swim in the cenote that is 27 meters underground in the town of Kawa. Spanish lesson.
Day 47
Physical conditioning. City tour to visit the monastery which is 457 years old, the church, the Government Palace as well as the Main Square. Spanish lesson.
Day 48
Cycle to Ek Balam through the jungle. Having arrived, get settled at the hostel and go for a swim in the cenotes. Spanish lesson. Overnight in Ek Balam.
Day 49
Physical conditioning. Trip to Rio Lagartos to see flamingos. and returning to Ek Balam's archaeological site.
Day 50
After breakfast rappel and zip line at cenote Xcanche. Then we will take public transportation to return to Playa del Carmen. Walk on 5th avenue to enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of “Playa”.
Day 51
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy beach, town and the area of Playa del Carmen. Overnight in Playa del Carmen.
Day 52
Farewell party at Las Guacamayas.
Day 53-59
Optional Activities in Playa del Carmen.
Day 60
Transfer to the Airport. End of the trip, fare well!
